Matthew Todd Roach is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, graduating from Terry Parker High School. He received a degree from Valdosta State University where he was a member of the VSU Blazers football team. Matt then attended Florida State University, graduating cum laude. During college and law school, he worked as an intern at the Office of the State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit. Following his graduation with honors from Florida Coastal School of Law, Matt began practicing law in 2000. Prior to joining Harrell and Harrell, he practiced nursing home and medical malpractice defense for a nationwide insurance defense firm, was in-house/staff counsel for a major insurance company, and practiced with a nationwide plaintiff firm. Matt received his Board Certification in Civil Trial Law in 2015. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Amanda, and their three “children”, Bear, Roscoe, and Peaches.
