Courtney Lynn Fluegel

Courtney Fluegel is a personal injury attorney at Baggett Law. As a former collegiate athlete, Courtney knows that hard work and dedication can have transformational results.

She is a compassionate advocate, a collaborative leader, and her commitment to the pursuit of justice is unmatched.

Courtney began her legal career as a litigation paralegal at Rogers Towers, Jacksonville’s oldest and largest law firm. As a paralegal, Courtney worked on complex commercial matters and served as trial support in high-stakes cases. It was during this time that Courtney decided to attend law school and become a lawyer.

Following law school, Courtney gained experience in a variety of areas including criminal law, family law, and regulatory compliance. Courtney’s true passion is representing individuals and families in personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Courtney grew up in the small town of Sayville, New York, which is located along the south shore of Long Island. She played a variety of sports as a child, but it was her love and talent for soccer that brought her to Flagler College in St. Augustine to play at the collegiate level.

Courtney fell in love with the Florida lifestyle and remained in the Sunshine State after graduating from Flagler College in 2003 with a degree in sociology, psychology, and a minor in criminal studies. Courtney graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2010.

Courtney is very active in the community and regularly volunteers with Chemo Noir, a local nonprofit charity that raises funds to directly provide financial support to people battling cancer.

Courtney’s husband Drew is a middle school teacher at St. Matthew’s Catholic School in Jacksonville. Courtney and Drew have two children who keep them busy and on their toes. Courtney is also an avid Gator fan, tennis player and Peloton fanatic.
