Jonathan Michael Rowe

Long story short- I live in Gainesville and I got a ticket for going through a yellow light and as I went through it it changed to red. The car behind me was unfortunately a cop and regardless of the fact that the light was yellow (which he had to have seen) he gave me a ticket for running a red lig...ht. I called my dad to see what to do and he said to hire a lawyer- something he had had success with in Miami. After my ticket I got many letters for lawyers yet decided to go with Jonathan Rowe because every time I called his office I got to talk to a receptionist immediately and not a machine or hold line. In the end I spent $100 for a lawyer that didn't fight for me at all. I still had to pay the full ticket price ($250) and take a 4-hour driving course ($30). Honestly in Miami the benefit of hiring a lawyer is that there is so much going on bigger than the trivial quota of traffic tickets that the cop for the case doesn't show and the case gets dismissed (which has happened for my dad). But in Gainesville the cops have nothing better to do than show up for court and on top of that if you hire Jonathan Rowe you literally will be throwing money down the drain. He and his associates will not fight for you and you will have to do both driving school AND pay the full original fine. Basically his service will do nothing and add $100 to whatever you already had to pay. Seriously I never write reviews but I had to write this because on top of getting a stupid ticket the lawyer experience with Rowe was really that terrible and I wish I would not have wasted my money.

Received a traffic citation in Alachua county. Utilized Mr. Rowe's office for defense. Even though his fee was low, He did not advocate for me at all. I had to pay court costs, and even was required to attend a driving course as well as received points on my record. I am worse off for using this i...ncompetent law firm. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. HE WILL DO NOTHING BUT COLLECT HIS FEE.

Contacted his office and explained that I had received a traffic citation. They told me to fax a copy of the ticket and a letter explaining the circumstances. After faxing the required information I contacted Mr. Rowes office a few days later since he failed to contact me. I called on two separate... occasions and left my contact information. I was never called back. If there is one thing that I hate more, is a professional or unprofessional in this case, who cannot perform the simple task of calling people back. After waiting two weeks I went elsewhere and so should you!

I contracted the services of Mr. Rowe to assist me with a traffic ticket in the Jacksonville court system. His assistant graciously took my $99 and explained to wait until 30 days after the established court date. Around 30 days afterward, I recieved a mailing that explained that I would be require...d to pay the ticket in full while also attending a previously non-required driving school. However, now driving school is required. I attempted to contact Mr. Rowe 3 seperate times asking him to call me back to explain why I am now required to attend a drivingn school that was not required at the time. Keep in mind, I have 1 other ticket in my lifetime in Jacksonville. Even his assistant was surprised. However, I have yet to hear from Mr. Rowe. Based on my personal experience, I would personally not recomend Mr. Rowe for any legal activities. If you do so, you do at your own risk.
