I am a Partner at the law firm of Boyd & Jenerette, P.A. and the Department Head of the firm's Construction Law Group. I manage an extremely busy construction practice. My experience includes mediation, arbitration (as both an Arbitrator and practicing attorney), and trials. I represent Owners, Contractors, Materials Suppliers, Developers, and Design Professionals. Typical cases involve construction defect, breach of contract, breach of warranty, professional negligence, delay, liens/bonds, and insurance coverage issues. I have experience with Residential, Commercial, and Roadway Construction.
I have been appointed by the Governor of the State of Florida to the Florida Board of Professional Engineers. I am Board Certified in Construction Law and AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
I serve as Arbitrator for American Arbitration Association on both Construction and Expedited Commercial Panels. I have also served as Adjunct Professor of Construction Law at Florida Coastal School ofLaw.
I am a Board of Governors member of the Jacksonville Bar Association and an active member of the American Bar Association, Forum on the Construction Industry.
