David Lee Ham Jr.

David Lee Ham, Jr. is a multilingual litigator, trial lawyer, and appellate advocate with broad experience across civil and criminal matters. A member of the American Association for Justice (formerly the American Trial Lawyers’ Association), he earned his Juris Doctor in December 2001 from Florida Coastal School in Jacksonville, Florida. His legal studies included semesters abroad at Moscow State University, Durham University, and the University of São Paulo, where he interned with Bekin & Gennari Advogados, Ltd. He is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian, and conversant in Modern Greek and Russian—linguistic and cultural fluency that informs his international immigration practice. Mr. Ham previously served as an attorney in the Office of the Public Defender for Florida’s 19th Judicial Circuit and as a senior attorney in Child Welfare Legal Services for the Florida Department of Children and Families. He volunteers with Clay County Habitat for Humanity and the Children’s Home Society Community Partnership School at Wilkerson Junior High, is a Realtor member of Elevate Excel Realty, LLC, and is active in the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors. Admitted to the Florida Bar in December 2002, he was readmitted in December 2022.
