Kathryn Elizabeth Linn

Kathryn, and her paralegal Sara, were extremely difficult to work with. We had a small, uncomplicated estate. The first assessment Kathryn gave us turned out to be completely incorrect after we challenged her recommended disposition (which gave all assets outright to one individual instead of a pour ...over trust as stipulated). Once we cited statues to support our challenge, she agreed we were correct and blamed her paralegal for the "misunderstanding". Apparently, Kathryn didn't realize the paralegal had forwarded her emails to me. The responses received, correct or not, were extremely terse with zero explanations with zero followup when an explanation was requested. I asked them to void the improper documents Kathryn asked us to sign in DocuSign, and instead of voiding the documents in DocuSign, she printed them out, wrote void on the hard copy, scanned it, and left the fully executed version in DocuSign that could be retrieved fully executed at any point. When I challenged the paralegal once again that Kathryn said only I needed to sign a document (not my siblings), I promptly received a call saying they were dropping us as a client - very, very rude while doing so. I would not, under any circumstance, recommend this law office. They completely botched the whole thing and then fired us. Do not recommend. At all.
