Biography
Attorney James E. Collins has been practicing law in Florida since 1987, focusing his practice on civil trial law, especially personal injury and wrongful death cases. Jimmy holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law. He graduated from law school in the top 1% of his class, was a member of the Law Review, and was selected to the Order of the Coif. He is a member and past president of the Marion County Bar Association and the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida. He is also AV® Rated by Martindale-Hubbell®.
When not practicing law, Jimmy enjoys giving back to the community and remains active in several charitable organizations. He also coaches girls’ volleyball for Ocala Power United Volleyball club and is the head coach for the Varsity Girls Volleyball Team at Forest High School.
