Timothy Michael Goan

Born in Detroit, Michigan, Tim Goan spent his formative years exposed to the metal of “Motor City” and the music of “Motown.” But his heart was set on Florida and a career in law, so he headed to Gainesville, where he earned dual degrees at the University of Florida in Law and Business Administration.

Tim honed his legal skills in civil and criminal courtrooms for well over two decades. His knowledge of the law and the experience he brings to each case aids him in moving toward efficient and effective resolutions for his clients.

As a devoted husband and father of three children, Tim understands the complexities of the family unit, and brings an empathetic advocacy to his work in Family Law. He also appreciates the need for families and individuals to be able to reset their financial status, making Bankruptcy a viable alternative to the stressful challenges that struggling with overwhelming debt can bring.

In addition, as a physically active male who enjoys running, sports and other outdoor adventures, Tim fully comprehends the hardships brought on due to injuries caused by someone else's neglect, and he aggressively pursues outcomes that will assist his clients in alleviating their pain and suffering.
