On the business side, that means entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, and ongoing outside counsel. I'm often the attorney a business owner calls before problems start, not just after.

On the estate side, it means wills, trusts, and the probate and trust administration that follows when a plan gets put to the test.

Before law school I spent time in the Army and later led a congregation for six years — different worlds, but both taught me to stay steady when something's urgent and to communicate plainly under pressure. Clients tell me that's what they value most: I explain things clearly, respond quickly, and don't overcomplicate decisions that are already stressful enough.
