I was born and raised in the State of Florida. I was a Parole and Probation Officer for the State of Florida Parole Commission before attending law school at the University of Florida. I have been practicing law in Florida since November 1978. I was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida handling criminal appeals and extraordinary writ cases in the Fifth District Court of Appeal, Supreme Court of Florida and Federal courts, including death penalty cases.
I opened my private practice in Daytona Beach, Florida in December 1982 and have handled appeals, family law, criminal defense and juvenile cases (including delinquency and dependency) since then.
