Mr. Ellis was hired on a reference of another father that he helped. Mr. Ellis is very subtle, sometimes making you wonder if your fight for your child will ever come to an end, but what he was doing and unfortunately doing again for me (my ex is taking me back to court again. This will be three thre...ats in four years from her and this thirrd one will be active) is laying the road work. He is very up front of what he expects from you as the parent, how long it is going to take and how much it will cost. Over the last four years, he has sat for hours helping me to keep our son safe and healthy with not a penny out of pocket for it. I retained Mr. Armistead Ellis to modify my child support in August of 2012. From the beginning I should’ve paid attention to all the red flags using him because of his unprofessional practice. It took months (approximately 3 months) for my ex-wife to be served because Mr. Ellis didn’t have the corre...ct address. My calls to Mr. Ellis where hardly ever returned. I would have to call every week to get an update on my case. My ex-wife’s attorney even complained about Mr. Ellis office not returning their calls as well. This led to over 1 year of excuse after excuse from his office. I finally terminated Mr. Ellis in August of 2013 and settled my case with my ex-wife on my own.
