Tawny L Rountree

Hired Tawny to represent me in my divorce. Being military, I felt she would be pro/active and responsive. That was not the case. They were quick to call for payment but never responded to emails or repeated calls. Found out 2 weeks before my mediation she was let go from the firm she was with.... She ultimately talked me into staying with her since she was familiar with my case. Big mistake. Her and my ex wife’s attorney were former co- workers which just proved she had an alterior motive to just complete the case as quickly as possible.... even talk me out of trial. I felt she did not put forth the effort to represent me ethically or morally. I would not recommend Tawny Rountree for Military divorce or alimony issues. And good luck ever getting a return call or update until you see your statement of charges. Subpar representation on all levels! Hire a real attorney if you demand results!

Tawny Rountree and The Lasky Law Firm handled a very ugly divorce for me (including child custody battle), wherein my Wife was determined to leave me high and dry. The best thing I ever did was hire this firm! Not only did they expose my Wife's real self but I also got custody of my children. Was it ...cheap, No. But it was well worth it and they worked with me on paying for my case! What some people fail to realize is these types of cases are not cheap and not every court case is done in an hour like Law & Order. The court system doesn't move fast so no attorney can speed through a process when the other party is fighting you tooth and nail and they cannot control what the other person does. I would recommend everyone to this firm; they are not only great attorneys but they also care and never left me hanging. I owe them so much more than I could ever pay them.
