Retained for divorce involving domestic violence. Was not very knowledgeable, actually practicing under another attorney and had to run everything by her. Not very good advice and he burned through $6000 without accomplishing anything. We are affluent, but I had no access to any funds or assets. E...nded up having to withdraw petition for divorce and reconciling with abuser because I had no other choice but homeless shelter with my children. Abuser attempted to kill me and is now facing charges in dependency case and stalking. I now only have legal aid to help me. Been working with them for almost 2 weeks and have already accomplished more than what I paid $6000 dollars for.
