Eve Cody

Born and raised in Lancashire, England, Eve moved to St. Augustine, Florida in 2001 and has been a St. Augustine local ever since. She has a passion for the practice of family law fueled by being a mother of two.

Eve has experience in a range of practice areas. She graduated from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2007. While attending Lynchburg College Eve was a member of the Psi Chi International Psychology Honors Society, Kappa Delta Sorority and the Pre Law Society. She earned her J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2010 and was admitted to the Florida Bar the same year. While attending Florida Coastal, Eve was selected for and completed an internship at the Nassau County Attorney’s Office.

Eve began her career in personal injury and insurance defense, gaining critical skills in litigation, mediation and conducting depositions. During that time she also handled many foreclosure cases on behalf of banks in North Florida. She later worked for many years in Estate planning, business planning, probate administration, trust administration, guardianship, and probate and trust litigation.

Eve is currently a member of the St. Johns County Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Division and Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar.

Eve founded Cody Law, PLLC, a boutique law firm, located in beautiful St. Augustine, Florida, in 2023. Cody Law focuses its practice on Family Law and is committed to providing our clients with effective, responsive and steadfast representation. We treat each client with respect and professionalism and are dedicated to achieving the best possible results.
