The type of Attorney you need in your corner.

My Husband used Ms. Kenny to assist him with getting his very unreasonable child support lowered, and also addressed the lack of visitation he was getting with his child. Not only was she able to get his child support reduced to what it should be, no longer requiring for him to overpay in child sup...port as he had unfortunately been subjected to for a number of years, she also successfully got him a parenting plan that he was entitled to have this entire time he's been divorced, which FINALLY allowed for him to spend the time that he and his child both deserved. She was aggressive, no nonsense, and remained professional. She also kept us informed about the case and what to expect next. We couldn't have asked for a better outcome and were very pleased with what she was able to do for my Husband and his child. We hired her again a few years later for a completely different type of case. This Attorney was willing to take on a VERY difficult case, that was even out of the geographical area, AND out of her area of her (primary) practice of law knowing the very challenging nature of this type of case. Without hesitancy, she took it and dove right in. She was tactful, aggressive, professional even when the outside forces didn't give her the professional courtesy of the same, and didn't even hesitate to speak up in Court to protect us from the continued false allegations and outright lies the other parties resorted to in order to deceive the Court. In the end, we did what was best for our family and chose peace however, she fought for us until the very end when we made the decision to stop fighting against all of the very negative and toxic forces against us. She was/is well worth the money and you will not be disappointed. We know exactly who we will go to if we ever have a need in the future and will continue to refer everyone we know to her so they can be in just as good of hands as we have.

not looking out for my interest

I could Rarely get in touch with Renae. Renae went on multiple vacations during my case and did not leave anyone incharge of my case when she did leave. She does not work ANY fridays, she rarely returns phone calls. Her assistant has NO nowledge of your case. in my opinion she is lazy! During mediati...on Renae was more interested in emailing a letter to the Governor of FL than preparing for the mediation. She also informed me that the parenting plan was legally enforcable by the sherriff's office (which is not true). At mediation we scheduled the final court hearing on Aug. 1. She calls late in July saying the earliest she could schedule was Aug. 6. About two weeks before the final hearing she told me my EX did not have to show up to court, then 15 min.before court on the day of court, she calls and says she is going through my papers and my EX does need to be a court we may need to postpone to another day if I cant get her to court' keep in mind that my Ex has leagal council too. She yelled at me over the phone when i asked her if she did this for a living or if she knew what she was doing, she then told me "sometimes people make mistakes". I believe that is completly unacceptable for your lawyer to screw up showing up to court. I would strongly NOT recomend Renea for a family lawyer. There were so many things mishandled and things that were not true that Renae told me. She should be embarrassed to practice family law.

Convinced my ex wife it was best for my son in courtroom!

Choosing an attorney to fight for custody is a delicate process as it changes lives. I have fought for my son twice before with two other local attornies and Renae Kenny was THE ONE THAT GOT ME CUSTODY! I was impressed with her attention to detail and quick witts in the courtroom. While my ex's attor...ney tried some mean dirty tactics, Ms. Kenny kept her cool and was sly in her approach...i was simply impressed with her courtroom demeanor. The entire 6 hours, I felt confident and then in her closing statement she convinced my ex wife to agree that this was in my son's best interest! "What?! Wow!" was the thought I had in my head as she smoothly stuck in small yet specific details of my initial consultation that even I had forgotten about myself...and details that made a difference. I knew I won when I left that court room and the judge returned a quick decision in my favor. My son is now happier than ever, went from D's and F's to all A's and B's and his English teacher is talking about dual enrollment in the 10th grade (English was always his worst class)! He is in a safe, loving home and with family that cares....all thanks to Ms. Kenny! I have recommended her to friends and family and recommend her to you! Choose wisely...choose Ms. Kenny!
