I was very naive when I had to hire an attorney for the first time in my life. Tina appeared as very caring and supportive, however, when we got to court she sat quiet while my now ex-husband's attorney made blatantly false accusations that could have cost me custody of my son and possibly landed me... in jail. Things only got worse and I was bull-dozed by my ex. I have since spoken to other attorney's that have stated that my divorce agreement is terrible but it will be very expensive to go back and fight it now. Additionally, Ms. Stanford did not use all of the retainer money I gave her. She refused to return the balance although most attorneys I've since spoken to would. I would keep looking or represent yourself before using this attorney. She made an already traumatic experience even worse than it already was.
