Ellen S. Golden

I founded the law firm of Ryan & Golden,LLC along with my partner Rob Ryan on February 19 2014.  The firm focuses on the representation of select self insured Employers and select insurance companies as well as injured workers in workers compensation related claims.  Our firm also focuses on civil litigation including tort, negligence and subrogation matters.

In addition, I am a trained and registerd general civil mediator with the office of Alernative Dispute Resolutions with the State of Georgia.

I have prior criminal prosecution experience and prior experience in the general practice of law.  I have a passion for children causes having served on the Board of Directors for the Lowndes County Children Advocacy Center from 2002 to 2008.  I was former Board Chair of the Board of Directors for the Lowndes County Children Advocacy Center from 2005 to 2006.

I was invited to serve on the State of Georgia Children Advocay Centers, State wide Board of Directors from 2009-2011.

I currently serve on the Department of Family Children Services Board of Directors for Lowndes County beginning 2013.

In addition, I was asked to serve on the Chairman of the State Board of Workers Compensation Advisory Council legislative Committee since 2011.

I have served as a presenter at in- house seminars addressing workers' compensation issues offered to clients and have served as a speaker at seminars offered by the Georgia School Board Association and local Chamber of Commerce.  I have also served as a spearker in the past for the Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation  regional educational seminar.
