James Rushdy Francis

James R. Francis joined Farah & Farah as an attorney in 2015. He received his Bachelors of Science in Political Science and a minor in Leadership from North Georgia College and State University in 2008. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in 2012.

During his time at John Marshall, Mr. Francis was active in the legal community. He interned with the DeKalb County Solicitor-General’s Office and was able to practice law with the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office and the Hall County Solicitor-General’s Office under Georgia’s Third Year Practice Act. Before Mr. Francis’ graduated from law school he had already completed two criminal trials, presented evidence before the Grand Jury, and conducted arraignment and plea calendars.

After graduating from John Marshall, Mr. Francis began practicing personal injury law. This was a natural transition, as the area of personal injury law allowed him to utilize his education and life experiences to fuel his passion for helping others.

While not practicing law, Mr. Francis enjoys being active in the community. He is a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees), American Bar Association, American Assocation for Justice, Brunsiwck-Glynn County Bar Assocation, Atlanta Tennis and Lawn Association, and the Saint Simons Health and Fitness Club. He is also an avid athlete. He participates in 5k and 10k races, as well as, long distance runs and sprint triathlons.
