Biography
Attorney Don Smart has been practicing law since 1975. Mr. Smart graduated from West Georgia College and received his law degree from Emory University in Atlanta. He later received his Master’s in Business Administration from Duke University. Mr. Smart has served in the United States Marine Corps on active duty from 1975 to 1979 and continued in the Marine Corps Reserve for an additional 20 years retiring in 1999 as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Mr. Smart has spent most of his legal career in litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury, wrongful death, and commercial litigation as well as medical malpractice liability. He also has spent a considerable amount of time in Wills and Estate matters.
