I represented Orr Builders in a Breach of Contract and Foreclosure of Mechanics Lien case against the defendants who refused to pay Orr Builders after it completed all of its scope of work in construct ... ing a large commercial building in Cathedral City, California. I sued the defendants and aggressively litigated the case with my team through trial and as well the defendant's unsuccessful attempt to appeal the verdict.

Plaintiff Paseo Vista Homeowners Association, a 65 single-family home development, filed suit against the Defendants after a series of heavy rainstorms caused severe flooding in 2008, 2009 and 2010 thr ... oughout the streets, yards and common areas of the Paseo Vista project. The Developer Defendant Paseo Village Development, LLC settled for $599,000 on the first day of trial. Defendant Stantec, the project civil engineer, rejected Plaintiff's final settlement offer of $599,000 and countered with a $15,000 "take it or leave it" settlement offer to Plaintiff Paseo Vista HOA. Plaintiff rejected the offer and proceeded to trial against Defendant Stantec.
