After graduating cum laude from UGA in 2005, John attend law school at the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University from where he graduated in 2008. John is the son of Brother and Helene Fleming of Tifton Georgia. Brother Fleming is an attorney with Sims, Fleming, and Benson where he has practiced for over 30 years. His older sister is an instructor with the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy, as well as a clinical pharmacist with St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, while his younger sister, Ridley, is a sophomore at Valdosta State University. He is married to Caroline Horne of Macon, a former school teacher with Bibb County Schools, and they have one daughter, Libba.
