Frank H. Childs Jr.

Frank grew up in Gray, Georgia, and attended law school at Mercer University. He has been the County Attorney for Jones County since 1975 and has extensive experience in local government law. Frank has been a partner at Childs & Childs for over 40 years, and started as a young lawyer at the firm in 1973 when it was Byrd, Groover, & Buford. He has been named one of Georgia’s Legal Elite in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death law by Georgia Trend Magazine, and he was named one of the Best Attorneys in Macon by the Georgia Informer.

Frank has held leadership roles in many professional organizations including serving as past president of the Macon Bar Association, chair of Local Rules Advisory Committee of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, and Board of Trustees of Gray United Methodist Church. He is a member of the Georgia State Bar Association, a past member of the Executive Committee of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and is a member of the William Augustus Bootle American Inn of Court.
