Misty Dawn LaShomb

Misty LaShomb is a family law attorney at Meriwether & Tharp, where she helps clients navigate some of life's most challenging transitions with clarity and compassion.

Before earning her law degree and being admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 2025, Misty worked for over a decade as a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in EMDR. Her work with individuals and families gave her a deep understanding of the complex dynamics that shape relationships and taught her how to guide people through times of change. That experience naturally led her to family law, where she now uses the power of the law to improve lives and strengthen communities where she lives and works.

As a military spouse currently stationed in Warner Robins, Georgia, Misty understands the unique challenges military families face, including relocation, custody, and financial transitions. Misty is proud to call Middle Georgia home and is committed to serving the community her family is a part of.

Outside the office, Misty enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young sons, playing disc golf as a family, running with friends, and learning about the latest bio-hacks through her favorite podcasts.
