OUTCOME: All charges reversed on appeal
Air Force member convicted of rape of a child, hired Mr. Cassara to appeal his conviction.
OUTCOME: Not Guilty to all charges related to HIV. Guilty to one unrelated assualt charge that was not contested.
Soldier was accused of violating a "Safe sex" order. Government alleged soldier was HIV positive and that he knowingly had sex without telling his partners, thus exposing them to the HIV virus.
OUTCOME: Clearance reinstated
Mr. Cassara represented an Army Colonel who had his security clearance suspended pending revocation. We filed a rebuttal to the intent to revoke
OUTCOME: Discharge upgraded to General (Under Honorable Conditions.)
Mr. Cassara represented a former Marine Staff Sergeant who was given an Other Than Honorable Discharge for fraternization (he was originally accused of rape.)
OUTCOME: Clearance not revoked
USAF Master Sergeant was facing the revocation of her security clearance for alleged financial mismanagement. She retained Mr. Cassara to file a rebuttal to the proposed revocation.
OUTCOME: Retained-Allowed to retire
Soldier was facing mandatory discharge for violating the Lautenburg Amendment as a result of his conviction for domestic violence in state court. Mr. Cassara filed a petition with the Army arguing tha ... t his conviction did not qualify under the Lautenburg Amendment.

AF Staff Sergeant convicted of child sexual abuse hired Mr. Cassara to represent him on appeal
OUTCOME: GOMOR and NCOER removed
I represented an Army Master Sergeant who received a GOMOR and adverse NCOER while downrange for alleged sexual harassment. We filed a petition with DA to have them both removed from his records.
