This may also constitute criminal fraud. You should call the police.

You can file a complaint with the hospital ombudsman. But it is unlikely you have grounds for a lawsuit.

I think most of us keep our fax machines on over the weekend. If you are a client, and are merely faxing a letter, I am sure they will get it.

She will not be arrested. But they may get a judgment against her which can harm her credit. Your mom would do well to speak to an attorney.

Try to resolve this by talking to the owner. They have lawyers to handle this stuff. The cost to you would be way too much.
