Shawn Michael Merzlak

We recently contacted and hired Shawn to represent my son. Shawn met with me right away, in Waynesboro, where we reside. He listened to our issues, quoted me a price, (reasonable), and explained the process we would have to take. He arranged for a court date, per our request, and represented my s...on's case very well. He was quick to answer any questions and return phone calls. He was very knowledgeable in the law with my son's issues. I would recommend Shawn highly, and would retain him again, although I hope I never have to.

Shawn was the right choice for me in my greatest time of need. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and well respected in the legal community. Very personable and from our meetings and phone calls I can tell he is not only an honorable Lawyer but a good man. I am glad that I trusted him to do a good job..., which he delivered on.

Before Mr Merzlak I had never hired a lawyer before and was somewhat skeptical but after our initial meeting I was convinced that if anyone would handle my case appropriately it would be him. He was professional and straightforward from beginning to end, shared the good and the bad about my case so... I wasn't in the dark about anything, told me in layman's terms what he'd be doing throughout the process, gave me advice on things to do in the meantime to help my case, and even went so far as to work with me on payment. In the end his advice and whatever other lawyer-y things he did paid off and my charges were dismissed. Also the peace of mind I had because of him while waiting for a court date (almost a year) is not something I could put a price on. I've been sure you keep a couple of his cards on me in case I ever run into someone who could use his help as well.
