Biography
My legal experience is in Georgia criminal law and procedure, both in the trial and appellate court level. Since graduating from Mercer's Law School in 1988, I began my legal career as a state prosecutor for 5 years, in private practice for 12 years and have served as a public defender for 12 years, including 10 years as the Circuit Public Defender for the Conasauga Circuit. I have tried over 175 jury trials in the Superior Courts and have conducted over 100 appeals, including 6 appearances before the Georgia Supreme Court for oral argument.
I am a military veteran, having served 5 years in the U.S. Navy after graduating from the Virginia Military Institute in 1979. My hobbies include military history, politics, and physical training. I work hard for my clients and my fee structure is reasonable.
