She simply states the facts as they are, and does not sugar coat the facts to those she serves just so they may content under false pre tenses.... She has to do her job based on Georgia law, even when some laws do not yield the best outcome in some situations. However, she does understand and empathizes with individuals in tough situations. She understands that although she sees and hears all problems of lives on a daily basis, she is not calloused to understanding that for those she serves, whether their problem is large or small, it is a big deal for them, and the most important thing happening in their lives at the given moment in time. She is considerate, knowing her clients need someone to care about their situation as much as they do, and the world of court is like a foreign language to most everyone in need of an attorney. She explains the process well. She also is great to encourage others to rise up and do better moving forward, or to not be defeated mentally with less than desired outcomes. She gives others hope that things will get better. Her own testimony of her life is quite amazing. She is a fighter, an overcomer, and a survivor in life inside and outside the courtroom. That is the kind of person I would want on my side during times relating to court matters. She also has great front desk staff currently that has been super helpful and kind. Mrs. Mae is the best!

Ms. Melton went over and above representing my interests in a custody case. She listened and worked hard to help me resolve the issues and do what was needed to take care of my children. She asked a lot of questions about my situation, and advised me on the information that I needed to gather to p...repare for my case She always returned calls, responded to my requests, and clearly explained everything to me. Our 1st day in court she came & pulled me out of court room & took me to a little room downstairs & sits down with this man & starts talking to him asking him questions then looks at me & says "well what do u think?" I looked at her confused for a moment & the realized she had me confused with anot...her client. I thought he was an attorney for my ex husband & he thought I was her paralegal. She gots facts mixed up during court & later when I pointed them out in the paperwork she got mad & started yelling at me. I would have fired her but I had already paid her & couldn't afford to start over after 10 months.
