Alexandros Hermes Cornejo

Alexandros H. Cornejo has a strong presence in the United States, with offices in New York, Dalton, and Woodstock, GA. Adept in immigration law, he handles cases related to the adjustment of status, citizenship, deportation defense, and family reunification.

Having recently expanded his firm to Lima, Peru – his birthplace in La Planicie – Mr. Cornejo has gained significant media attention. He provides skilled commentary on televised immigration cases and is mentioned in publications such as Viver Magazine, Revista COSAS Perú, and Business Empresarial.

As a distinguished Peruvian-American attorney, Mr. Cornejo is renowned for effectively representing a varied client base. He is authorized to practice across all 50 states and U.S. territories. Notably, in 2021, he achieved the release of more than 120 Latino immigrants from federal detention.

Mr. Cornejo’s academic journey began at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in Lima, a premier law school in the region. He furthered his education in the United States, receiving his Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2016. He then received his Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in 2018, graduating with honors and receiving the “Distinguished Alumni Award 2023.” He was admitted to the New York State Bar Association in 2019.
