Extremely smart and knowledgeable!

Jon is born to do this job. He's SO quick-witted and knowledgeable that in the courtroom (or mediation), you will have a HUGE upper hand by having him as your representation. He helped me with estate, corporate, and family law. In each and every case, he simply amazes me. I'm not saying he's a perfec...t person - there are days when he's clearly in a bad mood. And I don't blame him - I would imagine being a lawyer is a very stressful job. On those days, try to have some thick skin and remember he's not mad at you, he's just having a bad day! He's a great person. He fights hard for you and tries to get what you deserve, always. He looks out for you, and your family. I'm so blessed to have him as my attorney.

Knowledgeable, professional... An excellent attorney.

Many other attorneys were reluctant to take me and told me my chances of winning were slim to none and that I could be in court for years. I was referred to Mr. Mills by another attorney who said that he had more experience with my type of case and when I first consulted him he said it was a slam dun...k. After hearing so many lawyers tell me otherwise I was very reluctant to trust that but felt he was my best option being the only one I could find that had real experience with this type of legal matter. When I first met with him in person he had printed out the case law and highlighted and explained the verbiage that helped me to understand how he would argue my case and why the law was indeed on my side. After sending him a full history of my case (being VERY transparent about ALL the facts and negative factors on BOTH sides of the issue) I could tell Mr. Mills understood my hesitation to be confident, but insisted that the interpretation of the law regarding my case would control in our favor. When he had all the facts and saw the breadth of nastiness and injustice that had led to this action, I could tell my case got under his skin... Not all cases are so much about moral rights and wrongs but it certainly seemed to make him significantly more zealous toward our cause (not that he wasn't dedicated before but it seems a fire was lit after he realized that not only was he on the right side of the law but the right side of the matter- which made me respect him even more.) Mr. Mills is a very no-nonsense lawyer... My case was very emotional as are most cases involving family, and when talking about it it was difficult not to become upset. Mr. Mills while understanding was also firm in redirecting me in our conversations all in preparing me for the court date. He helped me to understand what was relevant and not relevant in court regarding the facts of my case. My case took two days and many hours in court and the law found in our favor. I cannot say enough about how dedicated, involved, and professional Mr. Mills was in working on my case. My case was extremely difficult and unique and the area of law (guardianship) and statutes related are still blurry and not well defined but his tireless efforts and research of all related cases were evident in court when he argued my case. I don't believe I could have found a better lawyer for the job and the results of his efforts in this action have enriched and changed our lives for the better! Aside from being extremely knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated Mr. Mills is a bulldog. He certainly won't back down when he knows that the law is in your favor despite the great efforts of the other party (at least in my case) to muddle the picture. I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Mills as an attorney, and myself would definitely use him again if needed.
