Prevailed against two lawyers simutaneously

Mr. Lyndon was my lawyer in a nasty divorce that went to trial over assets and I am grateful for all he was able to do for me. My ex spouse had hired two lawyers to simultaneously work the case. Each of them had help from their respective staffs yet Mr. Lyndon handled things extremely well. He was ...very sharp to pick up on discrepancies in depositions and testimonies. He and his staff also gave me ample emotional support and communicated clearly as we went along. He was always very well prepared before, during, and after trial. I can't imagine how things could have come out better for me.

disappointment

He did not get what was requested of him in recent hearing. Since there were negotiations behind closed doors, he may not have even supported the desired outcome. This was important and was a big let-down.

Disappointed

I didn't feel that my best interests were represented during almost 3 years. Seemed he was intimated by opposing counsel. Did not use Discovery findings to negotiate. Did not offer any suggestions. Only wrote letters at my insistence, with me providing the main wordage. I felt pushed into a disadvant...ageous settlement. Verbally dismissed me, after I stated in an email that I didn't feel my best interests were being represented at a crucial time just prior to settlement.

Maximized his financial return, minimized attention to case

Attorney worked on case 1.5 yrs, then in the last working hour prior to trial pressured me to settle for nothing. Did not at all apply same pressure to settle at mediation 10 months before or at other critical negotiations, even though same facts were in evidence. Took approximately $10,000 over the... course of the case. Too chummy with other lawyers and the judge, didn't work for my best interests. Considered reporting to the bar but know it is useless to do so.
