Biography
I grew up in the small town of Jefferson, Georgia, as the only daughter of the Jackson County Probate Judge (J.T. Wilkes) and the first female lawyer in the Piedmont Judicial Circuit (Jacquelyn Hutchins Wilkes). I opened my practice in 1996, and began specializing in adoptions in 2010. I am a member of the Georgia Council of Adoption Lawyers and the Georgia State Bar Association, as well as a board member and legal counsel of Nightlight Christian Adoptions in Georgia and a board member of Chosen for Life, an adoption ministry in Athens, Georgia.
