Eddy A. Corn

With over 25 years' experience practicing law, Eddy A. Corn is an attorney who concentrates on elder law and estate planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, multi‑state and blended‑family planning, post‑death administration, and related civil litigation. Born in Young Harris, Georgia, and raised on a farm that is now the site of the Brasstown Valley Resort and Golf Course, he graduated Towns County High School, earned an associate degree from Young Harris College, and received a BBA from Emory University. He became a Certified Public Accountant before attending Georgia State University College of Law, and his accounting background—particularly his attention to detail and knowledge of tax implications—distinguishes his practice. Early in his career he assisted carpet industry business owners in Dalton with buyouts and trust drafting. After serving as Vice President of Finance for Bartow Paving Company and as controller for a real estate development company, he was counsel to J.D. Tittle in Hiawasee for several years before eventually buying the practice. He enjoys hiking the Appalachian Mountains, trout fishing, and spending time with his wife, Georgia, who is his practice manager, and their two children.
