Hired for credit card lawsuit. Paid $1000 fee. Office did NOT advise when hearing was until 5 minutes prior which we where 100 miles away at a doctors appointment. We had hundred of pieces of documents & evidence to show this debts was PAID at 95% off (cancelled checks and all charges made) Trac...e got the alleged debt reduce to half amount $1800 (we DID NOT even OWE that much and had solid evidence) BUT we where not consulted prior to the hearing NOR told about the hearing ! Long story short this attorney got paid and SOLD US OUT on a debt we did not owe! He took $1000 from a disabled poverty level individual (yes he asked if we had a credit card to put it one - LOL) and stuck us with a $1800 bill to be paid in 30 days or the whole amount plus interst, etc would be a lien on our home. Yep AWARE - BEWARE - He cost us such a loss we are not monetarily injured worst!

Mr. Atkinson is a very soft spoken, zen attorney who has a way of calming you when you are in a stressful situation. However when he is working for you he's a junkyard dog and caves for no one when he's right. Though it's a little tough to pin him down at times, when it's a priority he's there on t...he spot. My case is still ongoing but so far he's made all but one charge disappear and I am confident that he will continue to work hard for me and get results. He has the utmost respect for those working in law enforcement and is more than fair to both sides and is a pillar to his community.
