Adam Joseph Harkness

I met Adam on 9/25 while incarcerated in the HCDC, we met briefly, at that time, my bond was $45k. Upon reviewing my case, Adam assured me he would be able to get my bond lowered to a more reasonable amount. (which he did, from $45k to $2,500). This took place in the late am.. early pm hour, apparent...ly, on this day, (9/25) there was a "high profile" case going on within the county courthouse that had many of the county officials working above their normal routine. Upon excepting Adams offer for representation, he, (at that time) informed me "due to the intensity of the high profile case", that he would not be able to arrange for my bail until the following Monday, which I agreed to... Later that afternoon, (to my surprise) Adam shows back up at the jail to inform me that he was able to achieve in getting the needed documents and signatures to arrange for my release. I was bailed out a few hours later. Several days passed after my release and I went by Adams office to notify him that I wanted him to represent me in my case...not only did he accept to take my case...but he had ALREADY been working on some plea negotiations pertaining to my case! I had my day in court on 12/7 and my charges were lowered significantly and my fine was much lower than expected. During my release time, and my court appearance, I continued to inform Adam how pleased I was with his efforts and hard work, his response was simply, and I quote. " I work this hard for all my clients" He and his father always greeted me with a smile and a handshake during my office visits, and I always left there feeling very confident that I had the right lawyer for the job!

I recently hired Adam Harkness to handle some criminal defense issues for me. Of course I was scared and upset and I wasn't sure how things would go. He always met with me and returned my calls and he was very up front, honest, and a very dependable and capable attorney. He actually met with the DA... in the courthouse and had a very good deal worked out for me before we ever went to court. The whole process went very smoothly and I can say with Adam's help my life is back on track and all my issues are resolved very favorably.
