Brad Brownlow is a crook and should be banned from practicing law. We paid Brad $9,500 to represent my husband on a trafficking case that was 6 yrs old. After we paid the money, Brad never responded to calls for several days and was down right rude and nasty when we finally did speak with him. He d...id absolutely nothing in my husband's case. After 2 yrs of being out on bond and waiting to hear when to go to court-- i called the courthouse and the clerk told me they had dropped all charged on my husband due to statue of limitations and lack of evidence. We were relived, sure. But, it was done 6 months prior and we never once heard from Mr. Brownlow. So- I decided to call him and just ask him for a update on the case and see his response-- his exact words to me were "well- unless your husband wants to update and agree to some prison time then yeah we can update for you." -- So, I advised Mr. Brownlow that I had spoken with the clerk and she said they dropped all charges-- HE HAD NO CLUE!! What kind of lawyer that you pay $9,500 to does not even know the freakin' status of your case?? I can honestly say I hate this man with a passion-- Hate is such a strong word that I rarely use- but nothing else fits. He is not a good lawyer and please oh please do not use him. He caused us unneccessary money and worry. We worried for 2 yrs while my husband was out on bond and never heard a single update from Mr. Brownlow. Not to mention the $9,500 we gave him for doing nothing at all!!!!! Legal issues are hard to go through to begin with; the last thing you need is a PAID lawyer with an attitude towards you.
