Thanks for dealing with my difficult Husband!

Although this matter took longer to settle than I expected, it was because my husband was so difficult to deal with. Ms. Brown was compassionate toward him, but clearly had my interests in mind and was direct and to the point. I wanted to express my sincere appreciation to for everything that she h...as done for me! I am excited to be single!

Modification of custody and contempt charges

Susan has handled multiple cases for me. I have filed contempt and had two modifications since my divorce. Susan has always been honest and upfront on what to expect (not necessarily what I wanted to hear). She is very knowledgeable of the law and strives to be fair. She answered my emails when neede...d and didn't make answers lengthy which I appreciated because that doesn't increase your lawyer fees with lengthy dialogue. I trust her and felt comfortable with her representing me. I have and will recommend her to others.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
