Jonathan Robert Lincoln Jones

A dedicated criminal defense attorney with extensive litigation experience, Lincoln Jones has successfully represented clients throughout Georgia. Lincoln began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Enotah Judicial Circuit handling misdemeanors in Blairsville, Georgia. The experience Lincoln gained in the Enotah circuit helped develop valuable trial skills and gave him unique insight when negotiating with prosecutors on behalf of his clients. Lincoln left Blairsville in December 2011 to begin his career in public defense at the Paulding County Public Defender's Office. Pairing the trial skills he gained as an ADA with the advocacy and passion for criminal defense, Lincoln has successfully defended criminal cases in juvenile, magistrate, and superior courts in the Paulding Judicial Circuit. Handling charges ranging from driving on a suspended license to aggravated child molestation, Lincoln understands that every case is unique and all criminal defendants are entitled to competent and zealous representation. His career as an Assistant Public Defender was exclusively focused on providing clients compassionate advocacy and effective legal assistance. Lincoln graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University in 2008 and magna cum laude from the Charleston School of Law in 2011. He served as the managing editor of the Federal Courts Law Review while at Charleston Law and is sworn to practice in the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, and all Georgia Superior Courts. He has exclusively practiced criminal law since joining the Georgia bar and brings to Davis & Jones a commitment to criminal defense that is keenly focused on results for his clients.
