Shereka Aelethea Banks

Shereka Banks is a personal injury attorney with Monge & Associates who brings strong academic training and real courtroom-focused experience to her practice. She studied Political Science at North Carolina Central University and went on to earn her law degree from the University of Richmond in 2016. Shereka is known for embracing complex cases and for staying organized and detail-driven while helping clients move through difficult situations. Earlier in her career, she served as a clerk and drafted two appellate opinions that were published by Maryland’s Court of Special Appeals—an accomplishment that reflects her ability to analyze issues carefully and communicate them clearly. Today, she applies those skills to advocating for injured clients and supporting the Roanoke-based team across a broad range of personal injury claims. Shereka is also a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, she values time away from the office just as much as time in it, and she enjoys traveling, being with family and friends, and spending quality time with her dogs, Prince and Shadow.
