Michael Smith the same way as a personal or family Dr. would be chosen: I Do my research for the best reviews I’m comfortable are real and not self-reviews, I ensure they have the Philosophy that getting the Degre...e is only the first step, that they never stop learning and are always doing significantly more continuing education than what is required. I want someone that knows their limits & when its best to bring in someone with specialized experience and/or training is needed & Have the specific knowledge of the profession so that they will know who that will be. He has fit all those needs for me! He has been there for everything from Auto Accidents, Business Creation, Day to Day Business Needs as well as Selling and Closing Business to Wills. Hes the best for business or personal and family needs! You will see how over the years he's been so helpful in my Business and Person life for both my family as well as myself! Auto Accidents: My children each had one, my wife had 1 and I have had 2 serious ones. One he took care of everything including having the Police officer remove the ticket that I was improperly given after proving it was not my fault. He always goes to court with any family member for tickets, wow he helped so much! He's wise enough to know as complicated as my case was & brought in co-counsel that he has known for most if not all of his legal career that was so over the top in experience that some Case Law & First Cases in GA he was the Lawyer. What more can you ask than having a lawyer that is not so self-absorbed that they "Knows All " and will not bring in co-counsel to one that when an expert in that area of the law to his clients advantage he brings in the best (which is what happened to my recently in a very serious issue I had). Business: With his assistance I have: Purchased 1 company, Chose not to purchase another do to his advice, Created multiple corporations both LLC & Inc.’s, & Sold 2 Corporations. Death of family members: My Parents passed away and they had 2 different wills one was considerably newer than the other, this as an issue out of state involved other family members. G. Michael was able to get the other Lawyer to finally admit to the newer will and I received it within 24 hours. My Mother in-law died out of state without a will he helped us with that and to get her elderly father to understand why he needed to create a will and offered to help him create it and send it to him to be signed locally and when he passed away assisted us with that as well. Divorce & Custody: He was instrumental in getting custody of my child & the whole divorce. He had the best idea in the world as to how to deal with visitation holidays and other times. Limiting my risk of paying for travel for my child to see the other parent. He made a very painful divorce more comfortable than I thought possible. Buying a home: The morning of closing we went by my new home and there as a huge trench from water run off cutting the back of my property in half and convinced the builder to install a head-wall and underground pipe to the retention pond so my property as well as what would be my next door neighbor’s property would not be effected. Home repair problems: A contractor leaked hydraulic fluid on my driveway and in the process of cleaning it ruined my concrete driveway He was able to get them to pay the over $5,000 to replace it. Bottom line I hope he never Retires our whole family would be lost without him!
