I called and found this attorney and spoke to her assistant for the lawfirm who seemed so nice and seemed very understanding about my case.It was clear and she agreed the organization dropped the ball in not only assigning me attorneys who didnt know what they were doing ie landlord tenant law but a...lso unethically didnt communicate prior to my court date leaving me hanging to dry. $500 consultation fee was discussed up front .We went through the main points and she agreed this all sounded like a nightmare while she is taking notes. She tells me that their lawfirm is different and the attorney that handles this is on vacation. She tells me to think about the consultation and contact her. i contact her to schedule and she tells me to gather all paperwork it had to be submitted within 48 hours,she calls me back the next day and tells me the attorney might have worked for the org so she may not be able to handle the case because of conflict of interests, if she worked there. She texts me a day later and leaves me a voicemail saying oh there is no conflict.I have my consultation with the attorney and she directly says not only did she work for them but she worked directly with the person who assigned me the terrible attorney. She gives me no advice on how the organization mismanaged my case or how they were at fault at all during the entire consultation. Since her assistant said they gave refunds at times they werent able to assist I asked for half or a refund. I received an email days later with the attorney saying she didnt see the value in hiring her.Since she never offered to help at the end of the consultation I didnt think it was a big deal until. I asked the assistant. She not only pretended like she never said that to me but the attorney refused to offer a refund. I also read reviews that she insults people while charging 1k for a consultation over the phone with no empathy or compassion in site. Im sad so many have given money thinking some of these attorneys care.
