ALPHONSIE NELSON TO HEAD QPWB’S ATLANTA OFFICE

ATLANTA ― January 1, 2021 ― Alphonsie Nelson, a partner in the Atlanta office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., has been named Managing Partner of the firm’s Atlanta office. Nelson assumed leadership this month. He will oversee the day-to-day management of the Atlanta office and will help to establish and guide the firm’s strategic vision. The firm’s Atlanta office handles matters for the entire state of Georgia as well as Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama.

Eric W. Boyer, the firm’s Managing Partner, said that Nelson’s keen legal expertise, combined with his demonstrated leadership, strategic focus, and reputation for exceptional client service will greatly benefit the firm.

Nelson received his law degree from the University of California Los Angeles School of Law in 2001. For over 18 years, he has represented individuals and corporations on behalf of insurance carriers, physicians, healthcare providers including acute-care hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and residential care facilities. A major component of his practice includes defending toxic tort claims, large loss property and casualty claims; catastrophic motor vehicle collision claims and wrongful death matters. Nelson is admitted to practice in Georgia, California and Colorado.
