Attorney Shreepal "Shreeps" J. Zala. (Shreeps is pronounced with a long e, like sleeps) is the founder and principal attorney at Zala Law, LLC, an intellectual property, entertainment, and business law firm. The firm operates out of both Atlanta, GA & NYC, but services clients nationwide. We provide legal services to businesses, entrepreneurs, and creative talent with a focus on protecting and monetizing our client's intellectual property.
We handle a variety of cases including copyright & trademark law issues; music, film,& TV Production contracts; copyright licensing & agreements; influencer brand & distribution deals; music sample clearance agreements; IP registrations and infringement; DMCA takedowns/cease & desist actions; online defamation takedowns; music publishing & royalties; and film production legal and insurance.
Attorney Zala attended Emory University where he received his B.A. in Economics. He received his law degree from nearby Georgia State University College of Law with a Certificate in Sports, Entertainment, & Media Law. He earned a CALI award in Information Data Privacy, a prestigious award recognizing academic excellence. Between college and law school, he studied music performance at the Atlanta Insitute of Music & Media (AIMM) pursuing a degree in musical composition and guitar performance.
In his free time, he enjoys various hobbies including performing music, writing songs, reading, astronomy, watching film, and going to live concerts.
