“Kristen Nugent is the principal attorney at K. Nugent Law, a boutique law firm specializing in business law, employment law, corporate transactions, and intellectual property matters, for small- and medium-sized business owners, healthcare industry stakeholders, entrepreneurs, high net worth families, and creative professionals across the U.S. and beyond.

Ms. Nugent graduated first in her undergraduate class of 2,040 with a 4.0 GPA at the University of Notre Dame, and was top of her class (Order of the Coif) and a member of the Law Review editorial board at the University of Virginia Law School. To better serve her clients’ data privacy and protection needs, she obtained her Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) certification in 2022 and is actively involved in the Privacy & Technology Law, Health Law, and Employment Law subgroups of the Georgia Bar and the Atlanta Bar Association.

Ms. Nugent has almost two decades of legal experience, including approximately five years working as an associate at AmLaw100 (“Big Law”) firms, seven years in-house at a Fortune 100 company, and several years as counsel at a boutique law firm before opening K. Nugent Law. She is English/Spanish bilingual and conversant in several other languages, including Russian and German.”
