Absolutely horrible. He was unprepared and took way too long to review. In the arena of pension and alimony he's miserable. His case load .... or whatever it was, prevented him from properly representing me and understanding my pension issues. I had to stand in court and represent myself basically...... because this man was so ill prepared. DO NOT invest your time or money in this man for anything related to divorce.

Thank God for the best attorney in the state of Georgia for my very complicated case. Douglas Davis did an excellent job. He explained to me in layman's terms so I can understand him. He is very sharp and he shows up very well prepared in court on time and dressed sharp. He is a winner and he won my ...case.

If I was allowed, I would give no stars. Do NOT trust this man. The one who took a vow to uphold the law is the one breaking the law. I agree with the previous comment, do NOT trust this man. Similarly, my retainer was to be returned to me if we didn't have to go to trial on an assumption. Never went... to trial, never got served to go to trial and after almost three years, I have yet to receive the retainer fee. Absolutely nothing was done!!!! I have also filed with the Georgia State Bar.

Let me start by saying I am filing complaints with the GA Bar Association against my attorney at this firm, to see what they think of the following. Here are the highlights. 15 months, not once did we get into a courtroom on either of 2 cases: a blatant and obvious contempt case and a custody case wi...th a signed affidavit from my son. He made a deal with my minor son (shaking his hand on it) that he didn't even come close to doing and put my son in a horrible position. He wrote scathing and un-provable accusations in the first draft of my filing for custody and after I edited them out twice, he took my signature page and filed it with his original unedited version, which I didn't find out until 5 months later. Ultimately the lies he wrote ended up being used against me by my ex's attorney, changed my son's mind about living with me and my daughter hasn't spoken to me in over a year. I made 4 settlement offers through him that my ex says she never received. He wouldn't answer my calls, return emails, return voicemail, no effort to schedule court or a next step, NOTHING for over 3 months, but the bill kept going up. Finally after waiting 4 MONTHS for them to re-schedule my deposition for a 4th time, I fired them. Once I received all of my paperwork and went through it with my new attorney, I see he blatantly lied to me on multiple occasions. On at least 2 different occasions he told me we had a court date and then last minute our hearing got "postponed". Looking through the paperwork, there is no record of there ever being a scheduled court date. It was yet another delay tactic to drag this out and make it more expensive. I have pages of complaints but for the sake of time I will leave you with this. I lost everything I hired this attorney to protect, my relationship with my kids, my ability to recover financial losses due to her contempt, and in the end the damage from the contempt cost me my job, all gone 15 months after hiring him and I never saw a judge once. While I was losing my job and trying to figure out the impact to my case, I left multiple messages with office staff, voicemails, emails for my attorney to get his counsel and he never once returned my calls. Worse yet, much of the damage was CAUSED by him and I paid him 3 years of savings to do this to me. Don't make the same mistake I did by using this attorney.
