My practice focuses on health care and hospital law and policy, involving mergers and acquisitions, federal and state regulatory compliance, HIPAA and medical records privacy issues, general corporate and transactional matters, and the intersection of third-party payment structures with health care provider organizations.

·         Act as outside general counsel to a family of companies providing anesthesia, purchasing, management, and billing services to independent ambulatory surgery centers, endoscopy centers, and physician office-based surgical practices.

·         Provide advice on HIPAA and general medical privacy and security law compliance to health care providers and release of information companies, including the management of breaches and interactions with federal and state regulatory authorities.

·         Negotiate and assist in the drafting of commercial managed care contracts, narrow network agreements, and similar arrangements for health care providers and provider networks.

·         Advise on population health management issues and the formation of accountable care organizations.
