Sandy Burney is completely incompetent, lazy, dismissive, unprofessional and rude. I was so embarrassed in court because the judge admonished her for not filing a motion to compel my ex to provide his financials which I had repeatedly emailed her to do beforehand, and for letting the proceedings d...rag out for 4 years!!! She had no strategy, and kept me in the dark about everything. You can’t reach her and she is defensive when you ask questions or for clarification. She wouldn’t answer one question…ever! She was late to court. She didn’t even have my parenting plan prepared for the hearing (after 4 years which takes no more than an hour to do). It was pathetic because the judge just ignored her the rest of the hearing. He wouldn’t even acknowledge her. She lost me the ability to recover over $150k in child support and past due expenditures. She’s so ignorant that she kept calling past due expenditures, arrears. I had to correct her so she wouldn’t look like an idiot at the final hearing. However, it didn’t matter, she still managed to do that anyway. You would do a better job representing yourself. You will highly regret trusting her with your case. She does more damage than good. I don’t even understand why the bar continues to let her practice law.

Sandy Burney is the worst attorney I have ever encountered, she never meets deadlines on time, she never answers her office phone, she doesn't give out her cell phone, she returns your calls with a email, and a bad attitude. I had her working on my case that was way over her skill set. She failed to... inform me of my options and rights to help my case. She never properly prepared me for the case. I'm actually in the process of filing a complaint to the Bar Association! I have a new found passion in my life, for warning people not to use this ill qualified excuse of a lawyer.

The best decision I made during the most difficult time of my life was hiring Sandy Burney! She made my Divorce as comfortable as she could considering the circumstances. She was caring, fair, professional, intelligent and most of all, affordable. She went beyond the call of her duty to get me the be...st solution for my Divorce. I highly recommend her!
