Hix H. Green III

I hired this lawyer to handle my divorce in 2003. He would never respond to my phone calls or emails. I finally had to resort to sending him a certified letter to confirm receipt by him that he knew I had been trying to reach him. He totally abandoned my case. The attorney that recommended him to me... had to take back my case and finally get it to the finish line. I am still suffering the repercussions of his "representation". I regret not filing a complaint with the State Bar of Georgia. The referring attorney made it sound like Mr. Green could come back on me for more fees - after abandoning my case?? Advice that I should have ignored as it appears that Mr. Green is still practicing law in this manner. Keep looking. There are plenty of other reputable family law attorneys in metro Atlanta.
