Donovan D. Potter

Donovan D. Potter is an Atlanta-based personal injury trial attorney at Beasley Allen Law Firm. He has litigated hundreds of personal injury and insurance defense matters in Georgia. He has extensive experience handling car, truck and bus accident cases, traumatic brain injury cases, wrongful death claims, premises liability and negligent security matters. Handling these types of matters have prepared him to fight aggressively and strategically for his clients and their families.

Donovan grew up in Dayton, Ohio and graduated with his undergraduate degree in Business Management from the Farmer School of Business at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.  He also obtain an additional undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Health, all while playing football as a Division 1 Intercollegiate scholarship athelte.  Donovan attended law school at University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. He gathered a wealth of experiences in various practice areas throughout law school and earned his Juris Doctorate in 2014. 

In his personal life, Donovan is involved in various public service committees and organizations to assist the local community and pro bono groups. He also serves as a board member on his neighborhood charter school board and a local non-profit organization engaged in the fight against gentrification and advocating for affordable housing. He and his wife, also an attorney, have lived in Atlanta since 2014 and have a 2 year old son and a Boxer dog, named King.
