Michelle Gregory Mumpower

Michelle Mumpower is a highly competitive personal injury attorney who has devoted her career to advocating for injured individuals since 2016. Since joining Montlick in 2018, Michelle has brought significant trial and leadership experience to the firm, having previously served as a Managing Pre-Litigation Attorney at a Georgia-based personal injury practice. She has a strong record of holding insurance companies accountable when they do not negotiate fairly, leveraging her litigation background to advance her clients’ interests. Michelle has continually secured meaningful results for her clients that allow them to move forward with strength and security. Michelle attended North Carolina State University, where she graduated with a degree in Biochemistry, and a Minor in Law & Justice and received the Congressional Award Gold, a national honor recognizing significant achievement in service and personal development. She later earned her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law, where she served as a certified legal intern for family and criminal law. After graduating, Michelle chose to pursue personal injury law because it allowed her to apply her background and knowledge in biochemistry and genetics to the legal field.

She originally chose a career in law because she wanted to empower individuals and give them a voice when they needed it most. Michelle’s favorite part about her work is connecting with her clients and fighting for their legal rights. She deeply values the lasting relationships she built with them, many of whom remain friends long after their cases conclude. Michelle’s commitment to her clients and her impact within the legal community have earned her meaningful professional recognition, including being named a “Top 40 Under 40” Litigation Attorney by the American Institute of Trial Lawyers, an honor that reflects her accomplishments in personal injury law.

Originally from Jupiter, Florida, Michelle relocated to Atlanta in 2015 and has since made Georgia her home. She is a longtime volunteer with the American Cancer Society especially with Relay for Life, a cause very meaningful to her after seeing loved ones battle cancer. Michelle’s love of working with children and giving back to the community also led her to volunteer with the Junior League of Atlanta and the Atlanta Children’s Shelter.

Outside the office, Michelle enjoys tap dancing, spending time with her husband and two children, and staying actively involved in her children’s schools. Guided by her personal motto, “Treat others as you wish to be treated,” she is committed to delivering compassionate and principled advocacy to every client she represents.
